Founded and led by U.S. Air Force Veteran, Jerry L. Martin, Carolina Express Freight is a premier freight carrier based in Florence, SC. The company draws on Jerry’s military experience and values to deliver superior logistical solutions. Jerry Martin, who served as an Inventory Management Specialist (Supply Clerk) from 1978 to 1982, leveraged his leadership and strategic skills to transition from the military to the trucking industry. His 23 years of CDL-A experience includes the last four at the largest owner-operator only company in the country. He currently has one truck (2016 Freightliner Cascadia) and two 53 ft. 2008 Utility dry van trailers that are vented and have airline systems with wooden floors. He also has a TWIC card which enables us to pick up and deliver to ports. Our goal is to provide exceptional logistical solutions that prioritize efficiency, reliability, and on-time excellence.
